Window Measurements

The length of your curtains is a matter of personal choice. Lace looks pretty to the window sill, elegant when falling to puddle on the floor, or anywhere in between. You might like to hang a single panel per window to act as an accent to your regular drapes, or double panels to tie back or hang straight. The choices are yours as you put the perfect finishing touch to your rooms.

Be sure to take your window measurements before calling or coming into the store.

Length: The best length for your window is a matter of personal preference. Measure from the top of window to where curtain will fall (sill, apron, baseboard, or floor).

Width: Fullness is a matter of preference. However, 2 times the window width is usually required for lightweight lace. Medium or heavy laces are 1 1/2 times the window width.

Washing Care

Our curtains may be hand or machine washed on a delicate cycle. We recommend putting the curtains in a pillowcase to protect the threads. Machine drying is not recommended. Simply rehang them slightly damp, pull them into shape from the bottom, and they will dry as new.
